Reds unlikely to recover any injured players
Liverpool could bring Ibrahima Konate back into their starting lineup for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Atalanta.
The Frenchman was on the bench for Sunday’s dramatic 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford but may partner Virgil van Dijk in the heart of the defense.
Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, and Joe Gomez all are options from Sunday’s bench to freshen things up too as Jurgen Klopp looks to balance his squad ahead of the Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace this weekend.
Elsewhere, Klopp is unlikely to recover any of the players currently injured at this stage.
Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Alisson Becker are expected to return before the end of the season but the first leg of their quarter-final clash at Anfield will likely come too soon. They have returned to training of late, however, so there is hope they will feature soon.
Liverpool predicted XI: Kelleher; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz
Injured: Alisson, Jota, Alexander-Arnold, Thiago, Matip, Doak, Bajcetic
