Chelsea will be well aware that while they are out of the Champions League,
big clubs will feel confident in the approaches they make for their players.
It has seemed at times under Todd Boehly and co that the Blues are open to offers for
pretty much any player if the circumstances are right.
This is why several players who many would never have expected to leave have moved on,
with Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, and Mateo Kovacic all moving to top Premier League sides.
It looks as if even some players signed under the new ownership are not safe from interest from top teams.
According to Simon Phillips, there is interest from Arsenal in the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk still.
Arsenal interested in signing Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea
He said on his Substack: “You cannot rule out other outgoings too. SPTC sources have heard that there is still Arsenal interest in Mykhailo Mudryk,
and Benoit Badiashile is still ‘up for sale’ should an offer come in.
“Chelsea still has a belief in Mudryk though, so we cannot see anything
being entertained there (perhaps a loan move IF a new left winger came in).”
The Gunners were the side linked strongest with a deal for Mudryk before he made the move to Stamford Bridge, where it is fair to say things have not gone to plan quite yet.
The Ukranian looked positive at times at Euro 2024. He was described as ‘unbelievable’ by Thomas Frank whilst competing there.
