Chelsea has been very active in the transfer market under their new ownership, and it seems that they are now preparing for an exodus.

According to a report from The Sun, Chelsea are prepared to sell up to 12 players this summer.

The West London outfit are ready to part ways with Djordje Petrovic, who joined them in 2024,

and they could be open to cashing in on the club’s vice-captain Ben Chilwell as well.

Other than that, players like Conor Gallagher have been linked with a move away from the club,

and Chelsea would be willing to entertain a lucrative proposal. Trevoh Chalobah is expected to be on the move as well.

The versatile defender is not a key part of Chelsea’s plans in the upcoming season.

Kepa Arrizabalaga does not have a future at the club either, and he will be sold permanently as well,

with recent reports linking him with Real Madrid. It seems that Chelsea are looking to raise funds through departures and balance the books.

They will have to comply with the PSR regulations, and it is no surprise that they are ready to sell multiple players this summer.

It will be interesting to see if they can get rid of their fringe players over the next few weeks.

Chelsea need to improve their squad immensely if they want to challenge Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Blues are not quite at the level of the two clubs, and they need top-quality players.

Selling multiple fringe players will allow them to bring in a marquee signing this summer. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Chelsea need to bring in multiple signings

Chelsea will have to improve multiple areas of their squad before the summer transfer window closes. They should look to invest in a quality central midfielder, a central defender, a goalkeeper, a goalscoring winger, and a reliable striker.

Chelsea have had two mediocre campaigns, and they will be desperate to bounce back strongly and return to the top of English football. They will need to improve the spine of their squad if they want to compete with the elite clubs.
